This is probably going to be one of the most important days of your life.  You want your family and friends to remember what a remarkable wedding reception you had.  You also want to have wedding pictures which will bring back the memories of your special day. Her passion for photography and her journalistic style have developed over the last two decades as a result of her experience in work in the wedding world with top photographers.  Jazz started photography by taking pictures of the New York Jets and by also doing photojournalist work for the New York Times in the 80's.  Jazz has tons of ideas when it comes to weddings, which will be much different than your "parents" wedding.  Jazz is a true "peoples' person" she works very well with people and has the uncanny ability to turn your dreams into reality. 

Jazz has more than 20 years of wedding photography experience and her extensive art background allows her not to just "point and shoot", but to draw with her camera. Her camera is her paint brush, the light is her paint, and you are her final and perfect creation. She designs each image as if she were creating a master piece photograph to begin with; Jazz approaches the traditional with an eye for the artistic and serendipitous. If eyes are the window to the soul then Jazz "artist/photographer" captures the heart, soul and beauty of those that come across her path while she understands that weddings are events steeped in ritual and ceremony, she also knows that some of the most beautiful moments are those that are candid and not posed. Jazz's wedding photography throws in a little bit of everything: photojournalism, posed and traditional photos, and lots of artistic and candid shots...

Sean Thomas Sean Thomas is committed to creating stunning images that capture the fun, emotion, and joy of your special day. His knack of dealing with people is well-suited to his reportage style but also helps considerably during the formal group images. Lifestyle and traditional portraits by Sean include family, pets, parties and social events. Sean Thomas recently graduated from the Washington School of Photography with the highest grades in the schools 33 year history and will attend Georgetown Univ. to obtain his Master of Fine Arts degree. Photography sessions can be at your home or surrounding location although there are studio facilities if required. Sean also produces photographs for model and actor portfolios, commercial and advertising projects including corporate and event functions and sale brochures. Sean is always trying to perfect his craft and is currently under the tutelage of Bill King who is known in the fashion world for his photoshoots in Paris, India, Canada, New York, and California, and has also studied under Jennifer Trice who is famous for her photography work with American Red Cross.

Derrick Starr   is one of Starr Productions rising stars in photography which has won Regional Awards for his eye in detail, pointshooting, and film developing even though he is still in college majoring for photojournalism. Derrick has been involved in photography for 5 years now, and this year has been getting a ton of experience at various weddings.

CDR Russ Lawry

Russ was born in Massachusetts and spent his childhood growing up in Connecticut. He developed an interest for photography at the age of 12 after his parents bought him his first camera. He has improved on that original camera and has recently made the move to the digital world. Russ has found that digital photography provides him with expanded capabilities over conventional film photography.

After graduating from college, he joined the military and for the past 20 years he has had the opportunity to live in many different places, experience various cultures and take advantage of many photographic opportunities. He considers himself fortunate to have been able to call Southern Maryland home since the year 2000.

Russ is an accomplished photographer with his photographs winning several awards. Although he enjoys taking pictures of just about anything, Russ specializes in photographing landscapes, nature, wildlife, sporting events and  weddings, (contracted out).

Dawn Washington Dawn was born and grew up in New York and then relocated to the Washington DC area where she honed her skills as a wedding coordinator, and  Event planner.  As a detailed conscious person, she has many years of planning and photography experience and coordinated many parties, ceremonies and social events with great success.  Have a stress free, memorable event, without breaking your budget; relax and let her take care of the details!
